Job Description

You'll take ownership of a broad portfolio of financial accounting responsibilities, combining technical accounting, statutory reporting, taxation, compliance and business partnering. You'll also play an important role in finance transformation initiatives as the business continues to invest in improving systems and processes.

• Leading month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes
• Preparing statutory, management and consolidated financial reports
• Managing cash flow, treasury and key financial accounting activities
• Ensuring compliance with taxation, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Driving improvements across finance systems, controls and processes
• Supporting ERP enhancements and finance transformation projects
• Partnering with internal stakeholders, auditors and external advisors

The Successful Applicant

You're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and taking ownership of your work. You have strong technical accounting skills, love working in a collaborative environment and thrive in businesses that are evolving and growing.

You'll also bring:

• CPA or CA qualification (or near)
• At least 5 years' experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation legislation.
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements and consolidated reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Medium- advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine sense of accountability.
