Mandatory Skills:
•Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Tasks, Time Travel, Cloning, RBAC, secure data sharing, and performance optimization.
•Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills for data transformation, reconciliation, data quality checks, and complex reporting queries.
•Working knowledge of Python for automation, API-based extraction, data processing, and workflow orchestration.
•Experience with DBT for modular SQL transformations, lineage, testing, documentation, and confirmed-layer data modeling.
•Experience in ETL/ELT tools and frameworks such as Informatica PowerCenter, Apache Airflow, and cloud-based ingestion patterns.
•Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and enterprise data platform design.
•Experience working with structured and semi-structured data formats such as CSV, JSON, and Parquet.

•Exposure to AI-enabled agentic workflows and solutions.
•Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, BI teams, architects, and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake-based data warehouse and enterprise data platform solutions.
•Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Python utilities, APIs, and cloud storage integrations.
•Develop DBT models and reusable SQL transformations to convert raw data into business-ready datasets for reporting and analytics.
•Implement automated data validation, reconciliation, auditing, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
•Optimize Snowflake workloads, SQL queries, warehouse usage, and transformation logic for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
•Design and implement role-based access control, secure data sharing, and data governance practices within Snowflake.
•Orchestrate and monitor ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow and related scheduling tools to ensure reliable production operations.
•Analyze source systems, profile data, identify key data elements, and implement data quality rules based on business and regulatory requirements.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical designs, and deliver trusted analytics data products.
•Support Agile delivery ceremonies, mentor team members, conduct technical reviews, and provide production support to meet SLA commitments

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional):
•10+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise analytics platforms.
•5+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake and Python-based data engineering solutions.
