Your new company
A well-established Darwin-based construction company is seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the financial operations of multiple entities and project-based activities across the business.
Your new role
Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions while providing accurate reporting and financial insights to support business performance.
Key responsibilities include:

• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Bank reconciliations across multiple entities
• Month-end and year-end processing
• Cash flow reporting and retention reconciliations
• Debtor and creditor management
• BAS preparation and support with ATO lodgements
• WIP reporting for construction projects
• Liaising with external accountants, auditors, banks and insurers
• Financial reporting and analysis for management

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient with accounting systems and Excel]
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
