About the Role:

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Full-Time Control Room Officer at our Logan site to deliver high-quality customer service and emergency response. This permanent full-time role operates on a 4 on / 4 off rotating roster with 12-hour shifts, supporting work-life balance. You will monitor security systems, manage access control, respond to incidents, and liaise with key stakeholders. Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access systems, alarms, and CCTV
  • Assess and respond to situations involving risk or hazard
  • Identify security risks and respond to incidents effectively
  • Control access to security-sensitive areas
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate data logs
  • Conduct site safety monitoring
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service
  • Liaise with stakeholders including clients, contractors, emergency services, and staff

Skills & Experience:

  • 2 + years experience in a similar Control Room position
  • Current QLD Security Licence (Crowd Controller component required)
  • Control Room Licence
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid Drivers Licence & reliable vehicle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
  • Impeccable presentation and a positive attitude
