Secondary Teachers - Various Subjects
- Teach various subjects including Religious Education, English, Mathematics, HSIE, Music/Drama, Science and PD/H/PE.
- Create a supportive learning environment and engage with the school community.
- Plan and implement effective teaching strategies and assess student learning.
A number of temporary full time and part time positions are available commencing 28 January 2027 until 20 December 2027. The successful applicants will be required to teach one of the following subjects: Religious Education, English, Mathematics, HSIE, Music/Drama, Science and PD/H/PE. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
- Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
- Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA(s).
- Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
- Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
- Ability and willingness to teach Religious Education.
- Ability and willingness to teach senior English.
GENERAL CAPABILITIES
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).
- Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
- The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
