Retail Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled qualified and skilled Retail Manager to join our team at Metroll located in Kewdale WA. The position is full-time. For a successful candidate an annual salary of $75,000 to $80,000 + superannuation will be offered.

Duties:

• Overseeing and managing the daily store operations.
• Creating and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and increase profitability.
• Achieve sales goals by preparing and managing the annual budget, monitoring expenditures and variances, and training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff.
• Supervising and supporting employees to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Provide customers with expert product advice and recommendations across roofing, cladding, rainwater, structural steel, fencing, and related building products.
• Process sales and assist customers in selecting suitable products based on their project requirements, specifications, and budget.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and place orders to maintain adequate product availability.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new employees on products, sales procedures, customer service, and workplace requirements.
• Planning and preparing work schedules for staff and service appointments for clients
• Monitor overall store performance and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Keep records of financial transactions and manage store budget.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, product displays, merchandising, and cleanliness.
• Handle and resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and staff issues professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure staff comply with established store security level, as well as sales and record keeping procedures and practices.
• Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Hold relevant qualification
