Property Network of Australia is seeking a Retail Leasing Executive to join a leading independent property investment and development company with a strong presence in the retail and commercial sectors.
The business is focused on strategic asset growth, value creation, and fostering long-term relationships across its portfolio of shopping centres and commercial properties. We are seeking an individual with previous or current experience in retail leasing, responsible for driving leasing strategy, securing new tenants, and managing renewals across Queensland retail assets.
This role is pivotal in optimising tenancy mix, maximising property income, and building strong stakeholder relationships. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities, negotiate leases, and support centre initiatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage leasing activities across the QLD retail asset portfolio
- Identify and secure new retail tenants to enhance tenancy mix
- Negotiate lease terms, conditions, and incentives with tenants
- Prepare and present detailed leasing proposals and reports
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends
- Ensure compliance with leasing legislation and company policies
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in retail leasing within the property sector
- Strong knowledge of the QLD retail property market and legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both autonomously and in a team
