Your new role
In this position, you will work closely with senior retail leaders to support leasing activity across a substantial retail portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the leasing of retail floor space, including new leases, renewals and licence agreements
- Managing casual leasing activities and proactively identifying shortterm leasing opportunities and emerging brands
- Supporting retail marketing initiatives, including listing management, brochure preparation and campaign coordination
- Assisting with the negotiation and preparation of leasing documentation, including heads of agreement, disclosure statements and leases.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and key stakeholders
- Supporting feasibility studies, reporting, market research and presentations for new and existing retail projects
- Contributing to tenancy mix planning and the delivery of new retail developments
- Participating in strategic planning initiatives for the broader retail portfolio
Some weekend work may be required on occasion to support retail marketing activities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a motivated, detailoriented professional with a genuine interest in retail leasing and property. To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience in a similar property-related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management capability
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive, selfstarting approach with a strong team mindset
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
