Restoration Scheduler

Insurance Restoration | Brisbane

An established insurance restoration business is looking for an experienced Restoration Scheduler to join their busy team in Brisbane.

This position sits at the centre of the restoration operation, coordinating technicians across a high volume of insurance claims and ensuring jobs are attended to efficiently from initial response through to completion.

Previous experience scheduling within the insurance restoration industry is essential for this position.

The Role

As Restoration Scheduler, you'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day schedules and movements of Restoration Technicians across a busy portfolio of insurance-related jobs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling and allocating Restoration Technicians across multiple insurance claims

• Coordinating initial attendances, emergency works, equipment checks and follow-up visits

• Managing technician diaries, workloads and geographical runs

• Prioritising urgent restoration and make-safe attendances

• Rescheduling and reallocating technicians as priorities change throughout the day

• Liaising with policyholders, technicians, insurers, assessors and internal restoration teams

• Monitoring job progress and ensuring required attendances are booked within appropriate timeframes

• Updating job management systems, appointments and job notes

• Ensuring technicians have the correct job information prior to attending site

• Providing general coordination and administrative support to the restoration team

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have previous experience scheduling Restoration Technicians within the insurance restoration industry and understand the fast-paced nature of restoration claims.

You will also bring:

• Previous experience in a Restoration Scheduler, Restoration Coordinator or similar restoration scheduling position

• A strong understanding of restoration workflows and technician requirements

• Experience coordinating multiple technicians and jobs at once

• Excellent organisation and time-management skills

• The ability to prioritise urgent jobs and quickly adapt schedules when circumstances change

• Confident communication skills when dealing with technicians, policyholders and internal stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail and accurate job management

• Experience using restoration or insurance building job management systems

Please note: Previous restoration scheduling experience is mandatory for this position. Applications without relevant restoration industry experience will not be considered.
