I'm partnering with a growing Perth residential builder to find an experienced Estimator / Scheduler to join their close-knit team.

The Role

This position is approximately 80% scheduling and 20% estimating, supporting custom homes and renovations from planning through to construction.

You'll manage around eight projects from a scheduling perspective, while preparing estimates for two to three projects at a time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating schedules, trades, materials and procurement timelines
• Reviewing plans, specifications and client selections
• Preparing residential estimates and monitoring ordering requirements
• Keeping project information accurate and working closely with construction teams
• Identifying potential delays and finding smarter ways to improve processes
• Exploring opportunities to use AI and technology to streamline workflows and work more efficiently

About You

You'll have residential construction experience, ideally in estimating, scheduling, production estimating or a similar role.
You'll also bring:

• A sound understanding of residential plans, specifications and building processes
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills
• Confidence using construction or estimating software
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and an interest in finding better ways to work
• Experience using Claude or similar AI tools, with a genuine interest in incorporating AI into your day-to-day work

Experience with Wunderbuild would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
