About the Role
Accredited training opportunity for a Phase 1 or Phase 2 ICU trainee in a leading regional hospital. The role includes 6 months of accredited core ICU training and 6 months of accredited anaesthetics training. You will provide high-quality care to critically ill and perioperative patients while working alongside experienced consultants in a supportive multidisciplinary team. International candidates can be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, diagnose and manage ICU and perioperative patients under supervision
• Participate in ICU and anaesthetic service delivery
• Conduct clinical handovers and coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Complete pre-admission and perioperative assessments
• Participate in teaching, education, audits and research
• Join the on-call roster
Essential Criteria
• MBBS or equivalent
• AHPRA registration or eligibility
• Ideally CICM Phase 1 or 2 trainee
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
