Registered Nurse Casual Contract 2 days per week

Uralla Family Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our supportive team.

As a Registered Nurse at Uralla Family Medical Centre, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting Clinicians during patient consultations and medical procedures
• Administering medications, injections and vaccinations as prescribed
• Taking patient medical histories, vital signs and conducting routine health assessments/developing Care Plans/Reviews
• Performing Iron infusions and venesections
• Wound care and management
• Performing ECGs and spirometry
• Ensure sterilisation and maintenance of clinical equipment. Maintain stocks of clinical supplies, including correct storage (such as refrigeration)
• Vaccine and cold chain management
• Using Best Practice clinical software (experience highly regarded but not essential)
• Building Positive Relationships with patients across all age groups and cultural backgrounds

Essential Criteria

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications.
• Current CPR, First Aid certification and Working With Children Certificate
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
