About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Rail Labourers, Cable Pullers and Plant Operators to support an upcoming rail project between logan and the Gold Coast.

The project is scheduled to commence September 2026 and will involve an intensive 2 week 24/7 program, with day and night shift opportunities available.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced rail workers looking to secure project work, with the potential to transition onto a further project scheduled for October between Beerburrum and Nambour.

We are looking to engage approximately, 10-15 workers including:

  • General Rail Labourers
  • Cable Pullers
  • Plant Operators

Applicants will need to have the following.

  • RIW Card
  • Current CAT3 Rail Medical
  • SARC
  • WET

Depending on your experience and competencies, duties may include:

  • General labouring duties within the rail corridor
  • Assisting with the removal of redundant posts and signalling infrastructure
  • Cable pulling and associated manual handling activities
  • Assisting trades and other rail personnel
  • Foundation and minor civil works
  • Operating plant and equipment where appropriately qualified and authorised
  • Site establishment and clean-up activities
  • Working safely within an active rail project environment
  • Following all project, rail safety and WHS requirements
