This position is particularly well suited to Law Graduates, Paralegals, Conveyancers, Property Law professionals, or individuals early in their legal careers looking to move into a commercial environment while still utilising their legal and analytical skills.
Your new role
Working as a Claims Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of property-related claims while partnering with solicitors, building consultants, surveyors and other industry professionals to investigate and resolve disputes.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of complex property-related claims
• Reviewing documentation, contracts and supporting evidence
• Liaising with solicitors, conveyancers, customers and external stakeholders
• Working alongside building consultants and technical experts to assess claims
• Managing high-touch claims through to resolution
• Handling difficult conversations and delivering exceptional customer outcomes
• Supporting broader business functions including underwriting, finance and operations

This is a role where you'll gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle rather than working in a siloed function.
What you'll need to succeed

• Law degree, Conveyancing qualification, Property Law background or similar
• Early career legal professionals are encouraged to apply
• Property law and claims exposure highly regarded
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
• Claims experience advantageous but not essential
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
