About the role
This position is part-time (15 hours per week), fixed term until 30 June 2027 and can be based at any GPH hub across South-Eastern NSW, including Wollongong, Shellharbour, Nowra, Moruya, Bega, Goulburn or Queanbeyan.
 
The Project Officer, MyRecovery - Access, Engagement and Outcomes coordinates the delivery of service improvement, project implementation, evaluation and quality improvement activities across the MyRecovery program. The position will use service data, consumer and stakeholder feedback, and partnership engagement to strengthen equitable access, consumer experience, outcomes measurement, reporting quality and sustainable implementation of the MyRecovery model across South Eastern NSW.

Duties

  • Lead service improvement projects from planning through to review and evaluation.
  • Analyse service data, consumer journeys and access barriers to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop practical tools, processes and reporting methods to strengthen service quality and outcomes.
  • Engage consumers, carers and key stakeholders to inform improvements and build partner relationships.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in mental health, community services, public health, project management, quality improvement, health administration or another related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating service improvement, implementation, quality improvement or project initiatives within health, community or human services.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse service, operational, performance or outcomes data and translate findings into practical recommendations for service improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Australian mental health and community services environment, including primary care, community mental health, psychosocial supports and recovery-oriented practice.
