Project Engineer
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Design and select components for manufacturing equipment
- Provide training and support during commissioning
Position Summary
A great career opportunity exists for a Mechanical Engineer with proven Project Management experience including equipment design in a manufacturing environment. The role will involve design, component selection, project management, working with drafting and manufacturing teams, and assistance with installation and commissioning.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Project Management.
- Keep up to date with the latest Food Machinery and Manufacturing Technology.
- Produce Engineering specifications, designs, drawings.
- Preparation of Commercial Items schedules.
- Commissioning and operator training at customer premises.
- Sub-Contractor management.
- Remotely supporting the service/commissioning engineers
Required Education and Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management and system design.
- Project implementation and “on site” commissioning.
Physical Requirements
- Well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of enthusiasm and willing to be “hands on”.
Work Environment
- Working with the Engineering Team at the Head Office in Australia, located in Mount Gravatt East, Brisbane, Queensland.
- Available to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
