Production Forklift Operator - Day Shift

Programmed Skilled Workforce is looking for an experienced Production Forklift Operator for an immediate start with our client in Dandenong South.

Our client is an Australian-owned company that makes polyurethane products for local and international customers.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for ongoing work with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Job Details

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift: 7:30am - 3:36pm
• Permanent opportunity
• Dandenong South location

About the Role

This is mainly a production role, with some forklift work.

Your duties will include:

• Measuring, mixing and blending products
• Operating production equipment
• Capping finished products
• Moving and putting away stock
• Using a computer for basic tasks such as freight bookings
• Following workplace safety procedures

Training will be provided to help you safely work with the products and follow all required safety procedures.

About You

• Previous production experience
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Experience operating a forklift
• Reliable and hardworking
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
• Experience with mixing or batching is an advantage
• Chemical manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not essential

You will be required to complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Spirometry test before starting.
