Production Coordination Officer, Bulk

CSL Behring is currently recruiting for a Facility Coordination Officer to join our team (Bulk Value Stream) at Broadmeadows site.  This role will suit an individual that has proven experience with building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and customers. The Coordination Officer will also assist with the coordination of global and site strategic projects that are related to yield and capacity and operation readiness.

Reporting to the Bulk Projects & Operations Coordinator you will work onsite and will assist in the planning and implementation of improvement initiatives including EHS risk assessments, investigations, and mitigations.

You will partner closely with the Senior Manager, Front Line Leaders and key stakeholders (BAU and Projects) in an ‘enabling’ capacity, such that operations efficiently and reliably deliver product with the right quality, at the right cost of goods, in the correct quantity (yield) and timing (DIFOT).

This is a permanent ongoing role.

Your responsibilities

• Work with Leadership and stakeholders to ensure resources align with manufacturing schedules efficiently, adhering to cGMP principles, regulatory standards, and CSL policies.

• Plan preventative maintenance during production and manage shutdowns for maintenance, ensuring proper equipment handover.

• Maintain and manage inventory levels across the operational area to ensure production volume and schedule adherence.

• Coordinate the review of procedures/documentation to prevent production issues, report preventative activities and small improvements.

• Ensure all training and competency modules for the self and team (as required) are up to date and as required provide input into the development of new modules

• Assist operational initiatives as directed by the Senior Manager.

Your experience

• Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or relevant discipline.

• Experience in a similar manufacturing role (or Operator role) in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Food industry.

• Experience with quality control and quality assurance systems including an understanding of regulatory guidelines.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate project activities and liaise across functional groups to meet project targets and objectives.

• Understanding in SAP, Veeva and QMS (Trackwise) is preferred.
