Are you a hands‑on and solutions‑focused Product Developer ready to make a meaningful impact in food production?
At Primo Foods, you’ll play a key role in supporting product development, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across our portfolio. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support EPD and product improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance
- Identify and implement cost‑reduction and process‑optimisation opportunities
- Analyse production processes, ingredients, machinery and yields to pinpoint improvements
- Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory and customer quality standards
- Provide technical R&D support across operations, supply chain, procurement and QA
- Troubleshoot product, process and quality issues and support root cause analysis
- Conduct trials in pilot and factory environments and track outcomes
- Research new ingredients, packaging and processing technologies
- Use data‑driven insights to support formulation improvements and scalability
- Manage timelines, deliverables and key milestones across simultaneous projects
About You
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in product development, R&D, QA or food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of HACCP, FSANZ, GMP and food safety principles
- Analytical thinker with experience running trials and solving production issues
- Excellent communicator with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Detail‑oriented, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
