Acacia Ridge | $37.50 per hour | 8:30am – 3:00pm | 4–5 days per week
We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our client’s Supply Chain team based in Acacia Ridge.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, logistics or supply chain administration looking for a part-time opportunity within a busy operational environment.
About the Role As a Procurement Officer, you will support the day-to-day procurement, inventory and supply chain activities of the business. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure orders are managed efficiently, stock levels are maintained and customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders with local and overseas suppliers
• Review MRP recommendations and manage purchasing requirements
• Follow up suppliers on orders, production and delivery timeframes
• Coordinate and track import shipments and inbound deliveries
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
• Monitor stock levels and support replenishment
• Assist with invoice matching and resolving discrepancies
• Manage backorders, bulk and high-value orders
• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve supply issues
• Support continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain processes

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, logistics or supply chain
• Understanding of purchase orders, supplier management and stock replenishment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with QAD and/or DocLink will be highly regarded
