Pharmacy Manager
- Manage pharmacy operations across multiple locations in QLD.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure quality pharmaceutical services.
- Implement strategies for budget management and regulatory compliance.
A permanent full-time role in the Sunshine Coast, QLD for a well established, state of the art pharmaceutical chain with long standing experience in the industry, specialising in Pharmaceutical help, medical help & cosmetic needs.
For an experienced Pharmacist Service Manager, Healthcare Manager or Pharmacy Manager interested in the operations management of Pharmacies in the coastal areas between Sunshine Coast to Townsville, QLD.
- Requires current AHPRA Registration + experience as a Pharmacist
- $100000 - $120000.00 Per annum + Travel Allowance
- Sunshine Coast, QLD
A normal day includes - 8.00am - 5.00pm working Monday - Friday + travelling to the stores in Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton & Townsville. All travel coast and accommodation paid in full.
- Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel.
- Assign duties and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs.
- Monitor the quality and efficiency of pharmaceutical services provided to patients.
- Address any patient concerns or inquiries, especially those related to medications.
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring that medications are well-stocked, organised, and within expiration dates.
- Coordinate with suppliers to order pharmaceuticals and supplies as needed.
- Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance
- Conduct periodic quality assessments and audits.
- Manage medication error reporting and investigation processes.
- Implement strategies to reduce medication errors and improve patient safety.
- Manage the pharmacy's budget, including tracking expenses and revenue.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue-enhancing initiatives.
- Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities for pharmacy staff.
- Perform employee evaluations and address performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and reporting requirements..

You will need
- Past experience as a Pharmacy Service Manager
- Past experience as a Pharmacist/ Senior Pharmacist
- Past experience as a retail manager
- Past experience as a working at a Pharmacy or chemist
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent sense of initiative and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with your support team and pharmacist
- To be well organised and have great time management
- Willingness to travel from store to store along the coast of QLD
- Australian police check
