YOUR NEW ROLE
In this KEY PIVOTAL role, reporting to+ being mentored by a high profile Principal (an outstanding ‘holistic’ personal injury lawyer), you will enjoy the challenge+ satisfaction of doing justice for your plaintiff clients focusing mainly on CTP/motor vehicle accidents plus WorkCover with potential to do some PIPA and/or TPD (if you desire some variety).
You will be actively managing your own files from A to Z (with back-up mentorship as required) including:
initial client consults, assessing+ advising on viability/quantum/liability of the claim, preparing legal/court documents, liaising with medical professionals/insurers/solicitors/3rd-parties, briefing barristers/medio-legal experts, attending court hearings/settlement+ mediation conferences.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- Are an admitted lawyer (or graduate soon to be admitted);
- Have minimum 1 year experience (preferably more) in personal injury law (preferably plaintiff, open to defendant) including CTP/motor vehicle accidents and/or WorkCover/Workers Compensation actively engaging in file management from start to finish;
- Have solid understanding of the CTP and/or workers compensation process/procedures across the ‘life-cycle’ of the claim + some experience litigation and working knowledge of UCPR (Uniform Civil Procedure Rules);
- Are a proactive SELF-STARTER, thrive in a busy fast-paced role and can handle pressure and meet deadlines;
- Have strong analytical and legal drafting+ communication skills;
- Are a strong team player, love practising personal injury law+ helping your clients;
