Our client is based in Regional NSW. The business provides services to Aged Care facilities in Regional NSW. The facilities are located in Shoal Bay, Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter Region of NSW.
The business is seeking two positions: Personal Care Assistants and Registered Nurses. The roles are full time permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities -Personal Care Assistants
Monitor and report any changes in the health status of residents.
Promote dignity, respect, and safety, ensuring residents feel valued and comfortable.
Assist with medication administration following the 3 Principles of Safe Administration (If Certified).
Provide compassionate and personalised care as directed by the care plan and Registered Nurse.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
Support residents with daily activities and personal care needs.
Manage workload efficiently, prioritising tasks as required.
Skills and qualifications
Qualifications: Cert III in Aged Care, Individual Supports (Aged Care)
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within aged care or healthcare is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Registered Nurses
Provide high-quality, timely, and culturally appropriate nursing care based on individual care plans.
Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to the Clinical Care Coordinator.
Lead by example in health and safety practices and supervise a team, offering support and mentoring to nursing staff.
Undertake clinical decision-making and interventions to enhance residents' health outcomes.
Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
Participate in quality activities to continually improve clinical practices.
Ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation
Skills and qualifications
Qualifications: Current AHPRA RN Registration, Annual CPR certification, and ongoing CPD commitment.
Experience: Previous experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting preferred, including supervising clinical staff.
The positions are full time permanent positions and the salary will be dependent on experience.
The salary for the positions will depend on experience and location but can range from $51.2k to $150k.
