About the Role
At dnata catering & retail, payroll plays a vital role in supporting our people and operations nationwide. We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our closeknit team in Broadbeach and help deliver accurate, timely payroll services across a large and diverse workforce.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, values precision, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive team. In this role you will:
- Process endtoend weekly and fortnightly payrolls nationally
- Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations and compliance checks
- Manage onboarding and employee data across multiple systems
- Interpret awards and agreements and apply pay changes accurately
- Process superannuation, leave accruals and payroll adjustments
- Support Labour Hire payroll processing across Australia
- Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and accuracy
About You
- Ideally 2+ years’ payroll experience
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation including: superannuation, parental leave provisions, workers compensation and long service leave
- Strong experience with Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation
- High attention to detail and pride in accuracy
- Strong Excel and systems capability (experience with Rockfast highly regarded)
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with strong communication skills
- Integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality
- A positive, team-first attitude and strong cultural fit - this is a close-knit team that values collaboration, reliability and supporting one another during busy periods
