Panel Beater – Truganina
Kogan People Solutions are working with a well-regarded smash repair shop in Truganina Vic. To enhance customer service levels, they are seeking a full-time skilled and experienced Panel Beater to undertake vehicle structural repairs and bodywork restoration.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out structural and non-structural vehicle body repairs.
- Assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair methods.
- Realigning vehicle frames and chassis using hydraulic and electronic measuring systems.
- Repairing, replacing and aligning damaged body panels and components.
- Performing MIG, TIG and spot welding as required for panel replacement and structural repairs.
- Preparing repaired surfaces for refinishing, including filling, grinding and sanding.
- Reassembling repaired vehicles and ensuring panels, doors, bonnets and boot lids are correctly aligned and fitted.
To be considered we expect to see
- Cert III (including at least two years of on-the-job training)/ or a Cert IV in a relevant course of study, or agreed equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience after completing your trade qualification. More experience is preferred.
- Experience with frame realignment equipment, electronic measuring systems, and vehicle body welding.
- Good work references
- A valid driver’s licence.
