The Role
The Medical Imaging Department (MID) delivers comprehensive clinical services to all hospital departments. The role of the RCH Paediatric Radiology Fellow is to further their learning in all areas in paediatric diagnostic radiology. The position presents an invaluable opportunity to cultivate the necessary skills for a future consultant role in both inpatient and outpatient care settings, under the guidance and support of Paediatric Radiology Consultants. Fellows collaborate closely with clinical teams through their clinical reporting and involvement in the multiple multidisciplinary team meetings. Fellows are actively involved in educational activities both within the Department and throughout the greater hospital. This Paediatric Radiology Fellowship opportunity is well-suited for individuals who have successfully completed the FRANZCR examination or an equivalent qualification and who wish to equip themselves with greater paediatric radiology experience and/or aspire to build a career in paediatric radiology.
The Fellowship position is for applicants seeking full time employment with options of 6 month and 12-month contracts available.
