Overhead Crane Electrician
$65 per hour + Company Vehicle + Super + Overtime
Location: Melbourne, VIC
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Electrician to join our Melbourne team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of overhead cranes and associated electrical systems across industrial and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and installation of overhead cranes and hoists
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical control systems
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Repair and replacement of motors, VSDs, limit switches, and pendants
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements
- Completing service reports and documentation
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working on overhead cranes
- Certificate III in Engineering or Mechanical
- Current Victorian Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Valid Driver Licence
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence – highly regarded
