Occupational Therapist for Canberra ACT
- Provide assessments and therapy for a diverse range of clients including paediatric and adult populations.
- Conduct functional assessments and recommend support needs, including assistive technology.
- Tailor caseloads and provide evidence-based interventions with regular clinical supervision.

Hours: 38 hours/week
Salary: Up to $109K (Depending on Experience) + Super + Travel + up to $20K PD

Roles & Responsibilities:
A fantastic opportunity to be exposed to a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams. With a strong NDIS focus, you will have the opportunity to tailor the role towards an assessment or therapy-based mixed caseload including Paediatric and Adult clients.
- Functional / Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Support Needs recommendations
- Assistive Technology Assessments for people with simple and complex needs and the opportunity to expand your skills/expertise.
- Fine Motor and Gross Motor therapy
- Housing needs Assessments including SIL /SDA or ILO accommodation options.
- Developmental Milestone Assessments for early intervention (0-5) and / or school aged (5-12) children
- Sensory Assessments and Interventions
- Emotional Regulation and Behavioral strategies working with Parents / Carers / Teachers (in-clinic, homes and schools).
- 1:1 Therapy - evidence based and goal orientated interventions.
- 24-Hour seating and positioning assessment and implementation of recommendations
- Adult Therapy (including group or 1:1 sessions)
- Manual Handling Assessments and Training

Essential Criteria:
- AHPRA Registration
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must provide a working with Children Check & National police Check.
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle are essential
- New graduates are welcome to apply but must demonstrate solid clinical experience
