Music Teacher
Term 3 maternity leave contract with possible flexibility
Seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to inspire and guide secondary students in a supportive school setting. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming regional secondary school community.

Role Overview

  • Must hold current teaching accreditation recognised in NSW and a relevant Music teaching qualification.
  • Remuneration range: competitive annual salary typical for regional secondary education roles.
  • Location: Regional NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Music lessons primarily to junior secondary students, with potential for senior secondary classes based on experience.
  • Develop lesson content and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
  • Encourage student participation through practical music-making activities, ensembles, and performances.
  • Contribute to the wider creative arts faculty and school community.
  • Leverage your expertise in areas such as instrumental performance, vocal coaching, ensembles, or music technology.

Essential Requirements

  • Current NSW teaching accreditation.
  • Formal qualification in Music Education.
  • Experience teaching junior secondary Music; senior secondary teaching credentials advantageous.
  • Valid work rights to teach in Australia.
