About the Role

At Super Retail Group, our purpose is to inspire and equip everyone to live their passion every day! 

Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking a skilled Microsoft Specialist to manage, support and continuously improve Super Retail Group's Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and related security and collaboration platforms.

This newly created role combines operational support, platform administration, security management and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Platforms, you will work closely with Cyber Security, End User Computing, Architecture and Business teams to ensure Microsoft services are secure, reliable, cost effective and aligned with business needs.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Administering and optimising Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Ensuring platform availability, performance, security, and resilience.
  • Managing configuration, provisioning, lifecycle activities, and incident resolution.
  • Delivering platform enhancements, feature releases, and modernisation initiatives.
  • Driving adoption of Microsoft technologies, automation, and self-service solutions.
  • Implementing governance, security, risk, and compliance controls.
  • Monitoring platform health, security posture, licensing, and compliance outcomes.
  • Developing operational standards, documentation, and support processes.
  • Partnering with Microsoft and strategic vendors to maximise platform value and innovation.
  • Identifying and delivering optimisation, cost management, and licence efficiency opportunities.

This role is based at our Strathpine Support Office in Brisbane, and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with at least three days per week based onsite.

About you

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Microsoft professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and can balance operational support with continuous improvement initiatives. With experience across Microsoft cloud technologies, security, governance, and automation, you are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to drive business outcomes.

In addition, you bring:

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 in a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft cloud services, security and identity platforms.
  • Experience developing and maintaining operational documentation and standards.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, coupled with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
