Your New CompanyA respected community-focused organisation is seeking a Mens Behaviour Change Facilitator to join their team in Townsville. Working within the domestic and family violence sector, this organisation is committed to creating safer communities through evidence-based programs, early intervention, and collaborative service delivery.
Your New RoleAs a Mens Behaviour Change Facilitator, you will work with men who use domestic and family violence, supporting behaviour change while maintaining a strong focus on the safety of women and children. You will co-facilitate group programs, conduct individual assessments and support sessions, undertake risk assessments, prepare reports, and work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves providing information and referrals through the court system and contributing to integrated responses for participants with complex needs.
What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant human services discipline and/or significant industry experience.
  • Experience working with clients who present with complex and diverse needs.
  • An understanding of domestic and family violence, behaviour change principles, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Strong communication, report writing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and client management systems.
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence, Blue Card, and ability to obtain a National Police Check.
