Job Description

Working as part of the Patient Support Services team this role will be responsible for coordinating and running the Doctors’ clinics. You will be the first point of contact for all patients and external stakeholders, as well as providing high quality administrative assistance and support

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Front Reception meet and greet of patients and stakeholders
  • Booking in patient appointments and preparing their files for Doctors
  • Providing support and coordinating patient files including uploading patient information into the online system
  • Typing the Doctors dictated letters
  • Answering external calls and enquiries from patients, health funds, Medicare, internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

We are looking for a strong administrator for this role, someone who has an interest in working in the medical field. You will be a team player who enjoys working across all levels of the organisation, as well as  patients and external vendors.

Ideally you will have;

  • Previous experience in an office environment in an administrative capacity
  • Experience with Medical programs an advantage (however not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and able to conduct yourself in an ethical manner, ensuring confidentiality
  • Microsoft office skills
  • Completed Secondary level education
