Maths Teacher – Cessnock, NSW 2325 

Help students build the mathematical foundations that influence achievement across every stage of learning. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to strengthen numeracy, problem-solving and academic confidence during key years of secondary education while working within a structured teaching and assessment framework. 

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging junior Mathematics programs aligned to the NSW curriculum. Through clear instruction, targeted assessment and meaningful feedback, you will support measurable student growth and help build confidence in applying mathematical concepts across a range of contexts. 

What You'll Do 

  • Deliver junior Mathematics programs aligned with the NSW curriculum 
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to improve outcomes 
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback that supports learning growth 
  • Maintain consistent classroom expectations and learning routines 
  • Contribute to faculty planning, assessment and reporting processes 
  • Support students to develop confidence in numeracy and problem-solving 


Benefits & Incentives 

  • Salary from $85,000 to $130,000 plus superannuation 
  • Full-time contract through to the end of the year
