Massage Therapist
- Full-time Massage Therapist position at Health Mile Wellness Clinic.
- Perform therapeutic massages and administer body treatments for health purposes.
- Utilise various massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.
Health Mile Wellness Clinic is located in the northern part of Perth. We offer remedial massage, deep tissue massage, Tui-Na, cupping, dry needling, acupuncture. We are looking for an outstanding full-time Massage Therapist with fantastic interpersonal skills, strong work ethics and the ability to work independently to join our wonderful team.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Diploma of Remedial Massage and at least 1 year experience in therapeutic massage
- Good command of English at Vocational level
- Positive, reliable, and motivated to grow your own client base
- Conduct soft tissue body massages of the muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist in healing
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, muscles and soft tissue conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary wellness team.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic massage and administer body treatment for health and therapeutic purposes
- Utilising a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury
- Assessing client's physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques
- Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice
- Employing other techniques, such as acupressure , and complementary aids, such as infra-red lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils and herbal and mineral therapies, to assist recovery
An annual salary of $80,512 plus superannuation will be offered depending on the applicant’s skills and experience.
