Maintenance Technician
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to support hotel operations.
- Complete daily plant rounds and identify faulty equipment.

At Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are currently in the hunt for a Maintenance Technician to join us on a Part Time basis.
Job Description
This role is ideal for someone experienced in a similar position who can confidently manage a wide range of maintenance tasks. You will support the day-to-day operation of the hotel by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
What you will be doing:
- Assist with the day-to-day maintenance requests via HubOS
- Complete daily plant rounds and identify any equipment that appears faulty or requires repair
- Liaise with relevant departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring out-of-order spaces are returned to service promptly
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks (completed and outstanding), including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role/hotel environment preferred
- Be self-motivated and able to work well individually and in a team
- Have the ability to work a variety of shifts across the week
- Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools
