This position will be based all over Melbourne/Victoria and travel is required across the state.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated, skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team partnering with Coles Supermarkets. You’ll be responsible for scheduled and proactive refrigerant leak detection, to keep the site operating safely and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate effectively and build strong on-site working relationships
  • Complete leak testing reports to identify and describe all leaks found
  • Capture all time associated with day-to-day activities using company supplied platforms
  • Be willing to undertake short courses and e-learning content to better understand the operation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Be willing to be provided on the job training and ongoing development by licensed RHVAC technicians to improve effectiveness of leak testing outcomes

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Proven hands-on mechanical, or trade experience
  • Experience working within Refrigeration HVAC
  • Ability to utilise smart phone
  • Competency to undertake semi-skilled work under limited supervision
  • Mechanically minded, safety-focused and solution-driven
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and own transport
