Your new role
As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for general repairs, preventative maintenance and the overall upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds. Youll work across multiple facilities, ensuring each site remains safe, compliant and wellpresented.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance tasks Inspect buildings, public areas and equipment to identify issues Operate and maintain tools, machinery and equipment Coordinate and oversee external contractors Mowing, edging and maintaining lawns and landscaped areas Pruning, trimming, and maintaining trees, shrubs, hedges, and garden beds. Follow WHS procedures and ensure safe work practices Manage work orders and complete tasks within strict timeframes Have sound communication skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholders Complete general repairs including basic plumbing, painting, tiling, carpentry, lighting and minor installations Operating and maintaining grounds keeping equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.What you'll need to succeed
Current Drivers LicenceWhite Card (Construction Induction)Physically fit, reliable and proactiveStrong handson general maintenance skillsExperience coordinating contractorsExcellent communication and problemsolving skillsModerate computer literacy for logging maintenance tasksGood understanding of WHS, compliance and relevant codesMinimum one year experience in a Maintenance Officer or Facilities roleTrade qualification (highly desirable)
