Machine Operator

Machine Operator –  Short Term Contract (3-6 months)

Shifts: Monday to Friday | 3:00pm – 11:00pm 
Pay: $35.80 per hour

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join the team at Vinidex on a 3–6 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a stable and well-established manufacturing business in a structured Monday–Friday afternoon shift role.

What You’ll Be Doing:  

• Operate PE pipe recycling equipment including shredding, granulation, washing, and pelletising systems
• Inspect incoming materials and monitor recycled output to meet quality standards
• Maintain safe and efficient material flow throughout the recycling process
• Identify contamination, equipment faults, or process issues and report as required
• Assist with housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance
• Work toward production targets while upholding safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the team to support continuous improvement and safe work practices
    

Shift Details:

– Monday to Friday
– 3:00pm – 11:00pm
– 7.6 hour shifts
– Rotating shifts if required
– No overtime required

Requirements:

– Forklift Licence (Essential)
– Machine Operating experience (Desirable)
– Previous shift work experience preferred
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
