Our client is looking for experienced Fixed plant Machine Operators to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment within production teams on a rotating roster
The sites operates on a continuous shift roster based on an 84-hour fortnight on both day shift and night shift. 7 day fortnight.
Reporting to the Production Supervisors, the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Contribute to a strong safety culture
- Operation and monitoring of manufacturing equipment to ensure quality and throughput are achieved to a high standard.
- Record production and quality documentation to a high standard
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure machines maintain a high standard of safety and performance.
- Maintaining and promoting a safe and clean work environment
Ideally will have
- Previous experience manufacturing or minerals processing (Brick/Tile/Masonry manufacturing experience highly regarded);
- Ability to work independently within a team environment;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- Ability to work under pressure within time constraints;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A current driver’s license;
- The ability to work on a continuous shift roster.
