About the Role

JBS Carriers is seeking experienced Livestock Drivers to play a vital role in moving cattle safely and efficiently across our supply chain; from feedlots and paddocks to saleyards and processing facilities. These full-time opportunities are available in:

  • Tamworth (NSW)
  • Griffith/Riverina region (NSW)
  • Toowoomba (QLD)

(Applications from surrounding areas are also encouraged.)

Competitive pay rates:

  • Full-time: up to $0.6077 CPK + allowances
  • Casual: up to $0.6988 CPK + allowances

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Transporting livestock safely in line with animal welfare standards and industry regulations
  • Operating prime movers and equipment efficiently and responsibly
  • Conducting daily pre-start checks to ensure vehicles are road-ready
  • Maintaining compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport regulations
  • Working under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) requirements
  • Upholding workplace health, safety and environmental standards
  • Supporting safe and effective livestock loading and unloading

What You’ll Bring

  • A current MC Driver’s Licence
  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience in MC driving
  • Livestock transport or handling experience (highly regarded)
  • A solid and reliable traffic history
  • Strong livestock handling knowledge and care standards
  • BFM certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A strong work ethic and team-focused attitude
  • Physical capability to manage loading tasks and access equipment
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends
  • Familiarity with the regions is an advantage
