Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with a leading automotive company, is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to start their career as a Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice.

You'll earn while you learn, gaining a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology while developing your skills in a professional workshop alongside experienced automotive technicians.

What will you be doing?

As an apprentice, you'll develop your skills across a range of automotive tasks, including:

• Assisting with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults
• Inspecting and working on brakes, engines, suspension and other components
• Using workshop tools, equipment and diagnostic technology
• Following technical information and service procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about cars and hands-on work
• Keen to learn and build a long-term career in automotive
• Reliable, motivated and safety-conscious
• A strong team player with good communication skills
• Interested in developing practical and technical skills
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
• A current driver's licence is preferred but not essential
