Position: Landscape Gardener

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Caulfield VIC 3162

Our client is seeking an experienced full-time Landscape Gardener to join their team located in Caulfield, Victoria.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Prepare and maintain soil, seedbeds, and growing areas for planting.

·Plant, cultivate, and maintain trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers, lawns, and other landscape vegetation.

·Prepare lawn areas by spreading topsoil, laying instant turf, or sowing grass seed, and maintain lawns through mowing, edging, watering, fertilising, and weed control.

·Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges, and install plant supports and protective devices where required.

·Install garden beds, edging, mulch, decorative stone, paving, and other landscape features.

·Read and interpret landscape plans and carry out landscaping work according to project specifications.

·Select and plant suitable trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground covers based on site and environmental conditions.

·Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscaped areas.

·Operate and maintain landscaping machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.

·Ensure all landscaping work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and company standards.

Requirements:

·Certificate III or Certificate IV in Horticulture

·Demonstrated experience in a similar position with at least 12 months of relevant experience as a Landscape Gardener

·Current Victorian Driver Licence and own reliable transport

·A high level of understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety

·Must be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to: carrying, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, twisting

·Strong attention to detail

·Excellent time management and organizational skills.
