An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced IT Quality and Compliance Coordinator to join a large and complex organisation on a part-time contract basis. Working within a collaborative technology environment, you will play a key role in supporting governance, risk, compliance, audit and quality assurance activities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.This position is ideally suited to a governance, risk, audit or quality professional who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders and influencing positive organisational outcomes through effective compliance and assurance frameworks.
Your new role
- Coordinate strategic IT risk management activities, including risk registers, reporting and governance processes.
- Support and manage internal and external audit programs and compliance obligations.
- Lead quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across IT operations.
- Develop executive, compliance and performance reporting using data-driven insights.
- Provide advice and guidance on governance, risk, compliance and quality assurance matters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen governance capabilities and improve business outcomes.
- Monitor and support adherence to organisational, government and industry standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance, audit or quality assurance within a complex organisational environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate risk, assurance and compliance programs and translate outcomes into practical business improvements.
- Experience leading quality reviews, process improvement initiatives and change activities.
- Strong understanding of governance, cybersecurity and quality frameworks, including:
- ISO Standards
- Essential Eight
- NIST Framework
- ITIL
- Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
- Experience working within complex, diverse and geographically dispersed environments
