Industrial and Earthmover Tyre Fitter

Full-time position based in the South of Wollongong. Suitable for experienced Truck and Earthmover Tyre Technicians, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics looking to join a reputable team with over 45 years of fitting heavy vehicle tyres. You will be crucial in maintaining their high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Requires: Experience in all aspects of tyre fitting (earthmoving, truck, industrial, agricultural, underground mining, light truck, or passenger car) Current HR driver’s license and C2 Crane Licence

Salary guide: $30-35 per hour  

Location: South Wollongong

Your normal day will involve:

• Perform tyre fitting, for industrial and earthmovers as directed
• Recommend the repair or replacement of customer’s tyres
• Completing and submitting JSEA (Job Safety and Environmental Analysis) and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) before starting work.
• Completing relevant reports
• Participating in a rotating roster for call back duties
• Attending weekly toolbox meetings

You will need: 

• Proven experience in tyre fitting for earthmoving, truck, industrial, or agricultural sectors.
• Proficiency in computerised balancing of truck and passenger car wheels.
• Current Class HR driver’s licence and C2 Crane Licence.
• Strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of WHS regulations.
