Indigenous Support Coordinator

MADEC is looking for an Indigenous Support Coordinator to deliver our Indigenous Wellbeing Support Program in Swan Hill, working alongside Indigenous clients and families to strengthen connections to services, support and opportunities.
This is a highly relationship-focused role where you’ll provide individualised support, coordinate referrals and build strong connections with Indigenous and mainstream services across the community.
What you’ll do
- Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients
- Develop individual support plans and provide ongoing case management
- Connect clients and families with appropriate services and community supports
- Build strong partnerships with local organisations and service providers
- Provide culturally responsive support tailored to individual needs
- Promote the Indigenous Wellbeing Support Program within the community
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with strong cultural awareness, empathy and community connection, along with:
- Experience working with Indigenous people and/or community programs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence coordinating services, referrals and client support
- A current driver’s licence
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
