Implementation Project Manager
Contract to 14/07/2027 | Brisbane CBD |Hybrid Working
We are partnering with a leading Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Implementation Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of Smart Ticketing across the program, with a strong focus on coordination, dependency management and maintaining delivery momentum.
Key responsibilities:
- Step into and support day-to-day delivery activities across projects as required.
- Maintain end-to-end visibility of dependencies across the program and actively manage impacts.
- Develop and maintain integrated delivery schedules aligned to actual development readiness and upstream dependencies.
- Track delivery progress against plan, identify risks or slippage early, and coordinate recovery actions.
- Coordinate implementation activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment of sequencing, readiness and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate regular progress and coordination forums across delivery teams, operators and suppliers.
- Identify, manage, resolve and escalate implementation risks, issues and blockers.
- Support go-live readiness and execution activities across projects.
What we’re looking for?
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience and accreditation in contemporary program/project management (Agile / Customer-Based Design).
- 2+ years of experience within government organisations, ideally working on projects involving significant public transport change.
