HVACR Service Technician
Location: South Brisbane / Gold Coast, QLD
Salary: $50.00 per hour + Overtime + Uncapped Commission + Company Van
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HVACR Service Technician to join a well-established air conditioning business servicing South Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The position will primarily involve residential service, maintenance and repair work, alongside some commercial properties. This is an ideal opportunity for a technician who enjoys working directly with customers, diagnosing faults and providing high-quality air conditioning solutions.
Alongside a competitive hourly rate, you will receive uncapped commissions, overtime, regular incentives and a comprehensive package designed to maximise your earning potential.
Some technicians have earned between $150,000 and $160,000 per year once commissions and overtime are included.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair residential air conditioning systems
- Attend selected commercial properties for service and repair work
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Provide excellent customer service during every appointment
- Identify additional repair, replacement and installation opportunities
- Complete job documentation accurately
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety
- Represent the business professionally at customer properties
About You
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current Restricted Electrical Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Residential HVAC experience is preferred
- Commercial HVAC technicians interested in moving into a mainly residential role are also encouraged to apply
