HSE Advisor

Monadelphous is seeking experienced HSE Advisors to join our Mining & Minerals South West team based in Bunbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor who is passionate about safety and enjoys building strong relationships with operational teams. In this role, you'll provide practical health, safety and environmental support, coach leaders and work crews, and contribute to initiatives that drive a positive safety culture and successful project delivery. This is a permanent full-time opportunity supporting our regional operations, with a fully maintained company vehicle provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HSE advice and expertise to the site team.
• Conducting and supporting HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness.
• Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.
• Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
• Provide hands on support to implement HSE improvements, plans or solutions.

What you’ll bring:

• Certificate IV qualification in OHS and/ or Environmental or related area is essential, Diploma preferred.
• Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessment (desirable)
• Minimum 2 years’ HSE experience in mining construction/maintenance or shutdowns.
• HSE systems/reporting proficiency; concise report writing and action tracking. 
• Well established knowledge of site HSE policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of HSE legislation and standards and their relevance to Monadelphous.
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
• Availability to work shutdown profiles and pick up rostered project swings when required.
