Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HC trucks transporting asphalt and construction materials
- Deliver asphalt to road construction and resurfacing projects
- Complete pre-start checks and vehicle inspections
- Maintain fatigue management and transport compliance requirements
- Liaise with site supervisors, paving crews and plant operators
- Ensure loads are delivered safely and efficiently to project specifications
- Adhere to all safety policies and site procedures
Skills & ExperienceTo be successful you will require:
- Current HC Truck Licence
- Proven experience within the asphalt, road surfacing or civil construction industry
- White Card (Desirable)
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Experience working around asphalt paving crews and civil construction sites
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Excellent safety awareness and communication skills
Highly Regarded
- Roller, Loader or Plant Operating experience
- Traffic Control tickets
- Asphalt paving experience
- Local road construction project experience
- HR or MC licence
