A well-established architecture practice is looking for a Graduate Architect to join its growing Sydney office. This is an immediate opportunity for someone who has preferably completed their Master of Architecture and is ready to continue building practical experience within a supportive commercial studio.The practice works across meaningful public sector, education, sport and community projects, including schools, aquatic centres, sports pavilions, libraries and community hubs. You will be joining a close-knit Sydney team with strong project exposure and support from experienced Architects and Project Leaders.
Your new roleYou will support Project Architects across design development, documentation and delivery, while contributing to day-to-day project coordination and studio tasks. You will assist with architectural drawings, schedules, specifications, presentation material, site visits and project updates, while continuing to develop your technical capability in Revit.This role would suit a Graduate Architect with around 12 months post-Masters office experience, although strong recent graduates with the right attitude, Revit capability and eagerness to learn will also be considered.
What you'll need to succeedCompleted Bachelor or Master of Architecture, with Master of Architecture preferredIdeally, around 12 months post-grad experience within a commercial architecture practiceStrong Autodesk Revit skills and confidence preparing architectural drawings and documentationExposure to presentation material, 3D modelling, rendering or Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be highly regardedA good understanding of the architectural process, building codes and construction documentation for your levelStrong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues, consultants and project teamsA curious, reliable and proactive approach, with a genuine willingness to learn and ask questionsWhat you'll get in returnImmediate opportunity to join a growing Sydney studio with a strong project pipelineSupport from experienced Project Architects, senior leaders and wider BIM coordination resourcesA close-knit and collaborative team culture where you can continue to grow
